Seated Twist

This easy practice, a variation on the Chair Spinal Twist illustrated on page 87, opens the upper body.

1. Space permitting, move slightly forward in your seat.

2. Bring your hands behind your back and clasp your right wrist with the left hand, and the left wrist with the right hand. If you cannot reach your wrists, clasp your hands.

3. Inch your hands toward your elbows, opening the chest. Breathe.
