Fast as a jackrabbit, your body converts the starch in white potatoes to sugar. Fries definitely don’t have enough nutritional value to be included in the vegetable group.
Tip: Fries that are cooked in good plant oils rather than saturated fats or trans fats are the better choice (see here).
